LYPFT Planning Care Network – our first event of 2014!

You are invited to join us in a participation event that brings together service users, carers, health and social care practitioners alongside developers, designers and coders to explore using data to improve care.

The event will take place on Friday 11 April 2014 between 10.00 – 16.00.

Time: 10am until 4pm
Location: Arthington House (part of Leeds Federated Housing),
30 Westfield Road, Leeds, LS3 1DE

We will provide lunch and refreshments during the course of the day.

    I would like for all service users before receiving any mental health service to receive a welcome pack, in the welcome pack I want a clear explanation on his or her role in their care & or treatment, I also want a copy of the trust values in the welcome pack & also the details of people who can be contacted if a complaint is necessary. I want the health professional to verbally explain the contents of the welcome pack & a conformation letter that explains all points have been covered to be signed by the service user & counter signed by health professional & retained by service user.
    PS. Welcome pack must also contain a Service User Network flyer.
    Here is just a few points I think may improve the quality of care in regard to CPN, I hope you do too.

      I like your idea of the welcome pack, it’s important that people have enough of the right information to hand. Good point about going through the info too, it can be a lot to take in and gives opportunity for questions and clarification.
