The Care Coordination Association

The national Care Coordination Association is holding an event on 24th April 2015:

‘Stronger Code, Better Care? Exploring and Considering Implementation of the New Mental Health Act Code of Practice’

There have been two major initiatives within mental health in 2014:

  1. the review of the MHA Code of Practice  – there have been significant changes in legislation, case law, policy and professional practice since the last code was published in 2008.
  1. developments to improve physical health care of service users though the commissioning for quality and innovation (CQUIN) framework

Our national event is a unique opportunity to understand and explore both these innovations that aim to ensure that all service users receive high quality and safe care through nationally recognized keynote speakers and workshops.

Confirmed headline speakers:

‘Closing the 20 Year Gap – The Impact of Mental Health CQUINS’ Dr Geraldine Strathdee, OBE, National Clinical Director Mental Health, NHS England
