Mental Health Nurses: what’s a typical day?
The next issue of Mental Health Nursing will be a themed issue that shows a typical ‘day in the life’ of mental health nursing – from midnight to midnight and all hours in between.
We are seeking contributions from all areas of mental health nursing, in the form of a diary (of a Friday), to build up a picture of how the profession operates in 2015 and the pressures that exist at all hours of the day.
Would you be interested in contributing? You could describe the main events of any Friday, along with your thoughts at the time and any relevant background or explanation. It needn’t be long – 500 to 1000 words would be fine.
It can be kept anonymous if necessary. Obviously you would need to take care not include any patient identifiable details nor breach any individual’s right to confidentiality.
Entries should be sent to mhneditor@gmail.com by Friday 16 October.
